Fueling Dragons at HCC (Sunday School class)

We are pleased to welcome leaders from the Howard Community College Fueling Dragons program to lead a Sunday School class this Sunday, February 8, at 9:30 am. They will share information about the program and give insight into the inner workings of the pantry, their priorities, and the lessons they have learned, as well as share their gratitude for the continued support of our church. A former student who used the pantry during her time at HCC will also be present to share the direct impact that our donations have on the students of HCC. After all, you can’t learn if you are hungry!

The Deacons’ annual March food drive supports the program which provides resources (including the Vivian C. "Millie" and William Harrison Bailey Food Pantry) to help students overcome food insecurity and develop lifelong healthy habits and skills.
